Milestone: Opening of adult habilitation program

Just four years after its inception, the organization launched its first adult habilitation program in a repurposed building behind Olive Street School. One of California’s earliest initiatives of its kind, the program reflected a compassionate response to the community’s growing needs. It created a place of belonging where adults with developmental disabilities could learn, work, and grow with dignity.
