Empowering Creativity Through Job Training

Real skills through real work that creates meaningful community impact

At PSW, we believe that creativity and professional skill go hand in hand, and that everyone deserves the chance to contribute their talents in meaningful ways. Training in the Print and Graphic Design sector prepares individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for careers in a dynamic, creative industry while building confidence, technical skills, and workplace readiness.

Partnering with PSW connects employers to a pool of creative, detail-oriented individuals eager to bring fresh ideas, precision, and dedication to your team. Together, we can foster inclusion and strengthen the creative economy in our community.

On-the-Job Training Through the Copy Center & Community Partnerships

At the heart of our program is the PSW Copy Center, an in-house professional print and design service. Here, participants receive hands-on training and mentorship in a real-world environment, building both technical expertise and customer service skills.

Through these experiences, individuals develop transferable job skills such as attention to detail, time management, digital literacy, and effective communication, all of which are essential in creative industries. Participants gain confidence, build a professional work ethic, and prepare for employment opportunities within PSW and the broader community.

Training areas include:

Print Production

Preparing and producing a wide range of materials, including flyers, brochures, invitations, posters, banners, and booklets.

Graphic Design Basics
