The Director of Operations reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization’s operational infrastructure. This position oversees Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Safety and Regulatory Compliance, Information Technology (IT), and Procurement. The Director supervises a team of back-office personnel and ensures all systems and processes operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can effectively manage day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement. Preferred experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or education-based operational environments, Familiarity with security camera systems, access control platforms, and timekeeping software. The ability to create and manage digital forms and interactive documents. Forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse/ inventory operations. Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $118,000.00
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

This position provides continuous supervision, hands-on training, and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Additionally, a Social Recreation Specialist is responsible for leading engaging activities that promote physical fitness, social interaction, and overall well-being. This role involves working with groups of up to 10 individuals, organizing and overseeing activities such as arts and crafts, sports, music, dramatics, movies, community events, and games.
Special skills include creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to helping individuals stay active while fostering meaningful social connections. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification, or obtain within 90 days of employment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and documentation. Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Job requirement includes being able to pass Dept. of Social Services Licensing requirements/ Fingerprint/Live Scan clearance, Possess valid California driver’s license and be on PSW’s approved drivers’ list; meet the min 21 years of age requirement & position may require a driver to obtain a commercial driver's license with Passenger endorsements. PSW minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited national or regional agency. Work schedule varies including working evenings, weekends and holidays. This position reports to the Director of Program Services.
